ALiGRO is an Africa centric, focused vertically integrated lithium company.
Our operations include exploration, mine development, mining and downstream beneficiation of lithium products for use in electric vehicles, energy storage, connectivity, and healthcare. Across our various operations we partner with parastatals, investors, indigenous entrepreneurs, and local communities to discover, develop and operate lithium projects to the highest possible technical, social and environmental standards.

Without lithium, electromobility is just not achievable. Without electromobility, net zero will remain a dream. It is ALiGRO's mission to play a meaningful role in the achievement of net zero, thus making a small (but real) contribution towards the long-term survival of our planet.
Several minerals are critical to the transition to net zero. One is essential. Whilst various so-called “battery metals” are interchangeable, when it comes to mobility, optimal battery energy density is critical and all known and scalable battery chemistries require lithium.

Carbon emissions from all fossil fuel driven mobility contribute approximately one quarter towards total global warming. Electro-Mobility supported by low to zero carbon manufacturing and clean renewable power production will negate 90% of mobility greenhouse gas emissions making the transition to Electro-Mobility both critical and urgent.
