Pius has been in the energy sector in Africa for 25 years. Recognised as a new-age energy guru, dealmaker, leader, and growth expert. His crossover experience in managing large-scale renewable energy hardware buildouts and accompanying ESG challenges, as well as technology, software, and the African regulatory landscape, make him particularly capable to spearhead ALIGRO’s downstream vertical integration.
He has worked in more than twenty countries in Africa in both the public and private sector. His experience includes power sector privatisation processes, transaction advisory services, feasibility studies and project management of complex transactions. He is the founder of Smart Innovation Energy which provides multiple services to the sector including, Operation, Maintenance and Asset Management of Renewable Energy Projects
