Mission to Net Zero.
Global warming is the unusually rapid increase in earths average surface temperature over the past century primarily due to the greenhouse gases released by humans burning fossil fuels. In the absence of redressing our use of fossil fuels our planet will continue to heat up and eventually die. Barring a nuclear war or asteroid collision, only achieving and maintaining net zero within this century will assure the continuous survival of our species.

What is Net Zero?
In order to combat global warming effectively, the world economy must eliminate one ton of greenhouse gasses from the atmosphere for every ton emitted. That’s net zero.

Balancing the carbon equation will require radical and rapid changes across the entire world economy including decarbonizing electricity, using only clean power in our homes and businesses, and using it to electrically power our mobility!

The Importance of Electromobility?
Carbon emissions from all fossil fuel driven mobility contribute approximately one quarter towards total global warming. Electro-Mobility supported by low to zero carbon manufacturing and clean renewable power production will negate 90% of mobility greenhouse gas emissions making the transition to Electro-Mobility both critical and urgent.

Electromobility and Lithium?
Several minerals are critical to the transition to net zero. One is essential. Whilst various so called ‘battery metals’ are interchangeable, when it comes to mobility; optimal battery energy density is critical, and all known scalable battery chemistries require lithium.
