With 25 years of primarily lithium mine design and development, lithium process design, plant build, and operations experience, Brian is widely regarded as one of the world’s leading experts on hard rock lithium mining and processing. Having held a diverse range of positions in lithium mining companies from COO, senior Director, and Mine GM to Metallurgist, Brian’s industry knowledge is exceptional within the sector.
Previously, he served as COO of Sigma Lithium in Brazil and before that he was Head of Australian Operations at Galaxy Lithium (subsequently Allkem, subsequently Arcadium) where he also managed the Mt Cattlin lithium mine.
Before that, Brian was Mine Manager at Bikita Lithium in Zimbabwe. Before joining ALIGRO full-time in 2024 Brian was ALIGRO’s lead technical consultant and head of its Technical Advisory team since 2022.
