Before joining ALiGRO, Thobile served as Community Liaison Officer for Umzumbe Mining Company, where she managed outreach initiatives, stakeholder engagement, and social facilitation. She has also worked on large-scale infrastructure and mining projects, ensuring seamless interaction between companies, communities, and government bodies.
